The Blue Series

A collection of eight powerful, emotional abstract paintings on a journey through loss, self-love, clarity, and forgiveness. The Blue Series by is a deeply personal and transformative journey for the artist. The series, which began in 2021 and ended in 2022, was inspired by events in Rainy's own life. Each piece in the series conveys a sense of vulnerability and authenticity, inviting the viewer to consider looking their own uncomfortable experiences and emotions.

"I feel like the Blue Series saved me in a way," Rainy says. "It allowed me to explore the ‘blue’ parts of my life. It was a cathartic process that helped me to heal and find my own self-love while learn forgiveness for myself and others.”

The Chaos Collection

The Chaos Collection was inspired by the experiences of living with Comlex PTSD and its numerous often filtered symptoms. These conditions often feel like navigating an constant overwhelming, fragmented reality. The collection itself reflects that feeling. It’s not meant to show trauma in a linear or “neat” way, but to convey its emotional chaos its unpredictability, its disorienting power.

You’ll see that many of the pieces in this collection are abstract, surreal chaotic, at times fragmented. Trauma doesn’t fit neatly into a box, and often, the experience of cPTSD leaves one feeling disconnected from themselves, from others, and even from reality.

In addition to being an artistic project, the Chaos Collection has opened numerous conversations about mental health in multiple spaces since 2022 the year of its creation.
